Sponsorship Programme

We are delighted to announce that five new students have recently enrolled  under the Grassroots Heroes Sponsorship Programme. This initiative continues to open doors for bright minds, giving them the opportunity to pursue their academic goals with confidence and support.

We are excited to watch our students explore diverse courses, broaden their knowledge, and take meaningful steps toward building their future careers. Their journey is just beginning, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements as they grow both academically and personally as we have done with those gone before them. 

Here is one of our new students. 

My name is Mary Namwawa. I am 20 years old and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at Rockview University, a four-year programme.

I am driven by my passion for law, advocacy, and my desire to make a difference especially in advancing women’s rights and youth empowerment.

My journey at university so far has been both amazing and transformative, unlike anything I have experienced before. Though the path  is challenging and sometimes demanding, I remain passionate and determined to overcome obstacles and contribute meaningfully to my community and nation.

My programme includes courses such as philosophy, criminal law, psychology, sociology, and constitutional law, among others. These courses have broadened my perspective and strengthened my commitment to justice and advocacy.

I am deeply thankful and humbled by the support and assistance I have received since my primary and high school program through Grassroots Heroes. Now that I’ve made a big step, your help is, and will continue to make, a significant difference in my life, easing my journey toward building a career in law.
